Locations:

Tempest has offices in EMEA, United States and Singapore. This position can be located in Ireland, Germany, France or the United States when applying to this position please share your preferred working location, candidates can be remote in these locations.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Flutter Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will lead the development of our mobile applications, crucial to our advertising and subscription-based business models. As a key player in our engineering team, you'll spearhead the Flutter development efforts, ensuring our products deliver exceptional value with efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our mobile applications using Flutter for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Oversee the complete development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to build, test, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Lead the integration of our applications with backend services, ensuring a seamless, efficient user experience.
  • Collaborate with other teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Provide mentorship and support to other engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.

Need to Have:

  • Extensive experience in Flutter development, with live applications on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
  • Solid understanding of the Dart programming language and the Flutter framework.
  • Proficiency in managing state in Flutter applications.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Flutter applications to back-end services.
  • Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points For:

  • Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role within a mobile development team.
  • Experience with other mobile development frameworks or languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with advertising and subscription models within mobile applications.
